Great venue for plays, concerts and movies!

I love going to the Visual, it is one of the best venues in the South East. I brought 14 kids, ranging from 10-4, to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at Christmas. They all loved the movie. The theatre was warm, comfortable and the kids could all see everything from they were sitting. The staff are friendly and helpful and the... More

Visual in Carlow is one of the best galleries on the island or Ireland, with its well thought out programme and outreach programs it is a hive of activity. Well worth a visit if you are either in Carlow or passing by on the nearly M9 travelling to Waterford or Kilkenny it is well worth a short detour to see... More

Came here to see a comedy act last year with sister, i found the place difficult to navigate. The place was very clean and kept to a great standard. The act was great with a resonable price. The booklets are great to see the upcoming acts and events that are on the upcoming months.

Hi Lisa, thanks for that feedback. Can we ask did you find it difficult to navigate inside the building or from car park? More

Visual Carlow is a great arts centre, and free to visit for art exhibitions. There's a good and varied programme. Not an original idea but well executed and an... More

Great facility for the town and some really interesting pieces on display when we visited. There was a documentary on showing the history of the beet factory in Carlow which was very interesting. Wonderful opportunity to see the work of local artists.

Highly recommend this gallery for contemporary art. Great building and great café. Modern space and a gem in Carlow town. We'll worth a visit and check online for forthcoming exhibitions especially the open submission for eigse.

I visited for a live music performance and the sound was great. Also impressed by the amount of parking. Ticket prices are always a bargain.

Carlow is very lucky to have this wonderful, modern arts centre & venue. The art is often eclectic & may not always be to everyone's taste, but it's well curated & presented.

Perfect for a night out with ample parking, and food and bar on site so you can combine a show and meal in the one venue.
