- ChristineBBangkok, Thailand3 contributionsYou wish this was your kind of garden :)Best place for family day trip. If you are love nature and garden, this is a beautiful place to explore. The landscape is magnificent, they serve good food as well, you can feed the elephants, watch the elephant shows and ride with them. Although, it breaks my heart when they try hit those wonderful creatures because of the tourism. :( Overall, a must stop to visit when you are in Thailand.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten November 27, 2023
- Ankit J6 contributionsMost beautiful gardenNong Nooch Garden is one of the most beautiful gardens in the world. Its at a distance of 20 kms. from Pattaya. Reach early as it's huge and needs time to explore it. Advance booking is a must here. Booking through Klook is hassle free and cost effective. Must take shuttle bus as the garden is huge. Additionally, you may also walk through skywalk and cover the entire garden from above. Must visit the Car museum, Dinosaur park, Stone Forest, Pottery garden. King-size statues of Dinosaurs and Elephant can please people of all ages. Thai cultural show, and Elephant show were spectacular. Please make sure you have at least half a day to explore and appreciate this magnificent garden to the fullest.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten December 26, 2023
- pianocelloShah Alam, Malaysia1,944 contributionsInterestingThe gardens are huge and well-maintained. Compared to Singapore's Gardens By The Bay, much of it is of the non-flowering kind. There are many statues of animals and dinosaurs in the park giving it a surreal feel. While some have warned about the difficulties of getting Grab, I had no problems getting Grab back to Pattaya.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten December 27, 2023
- KimManila, Philippines16 contributionsHUGE GARDEN IN THAILANDI was amazed by the tropical garden when we visited it. It's really huge and like a paradise for me. We saw different types of plants and some life-sized dinosaurs statue. They have a big nursery in house garden for various small plants which you're not allowed to walk inside- as you will ride a bus and the bus will not make a stop inside the nursery. You can also ride the elephant there. The highlight there is the French garden and the life-sized dinosaurs. If you get hungry there's a restaurant inside and some food booth, there's also a souvenir's shop. I highly recommend this place to visit in Pattaya, ThailandVisited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten January 3, 2024
- atwell4Silverton, Oregon254 contributionsMassive garden with so much beautyI can see why this garden is one of the top ten in the world. Each section of the garden was beautiful. I especially liked the clay pots section but the french gardens were lovely and...well, every section is great. Wasn't keen on the elephant area and riding the elephants. I cannot tell if the elephants are happy. But this garden--with wall art made from pebbles/rocks was cool. The attention to detail throughout this park was wonderful. You could spend several days here. BTW, take the BUS tour through the park if you want to see a lot in a short time.Visited January 2024Travelled with friendsWritten January 25, 2024
- PSP JeffPalm Springs, California230 contributionsBe aware that Grab is not permitted to pick up thereI had not heard of it until a friend brought it up and off we went. I was not ready for the scale: 500 acres! It is beautiful with a combination of formal gardens and arrangements of interesting plants. I do wish it had more signs to tell you what the plants are. There are thousands of animal statues, many of dinosaurs, and they do tell you what type all of those are. Definitely a lot of dinosaurs I had never heard of or seen in books/movies. There are elephant rides, and elephant show and a Thai Culture show. There is a "sightseeing bus" that goes to areas you can't walk to as well as saves you a long walk to the Orchid area. As for the title, living in Thailand, I do not take taxis as a rule. They are nothing but problematic. However, the taxi "mafia" seems to be still strong in the Pattaya area and they will not allow pickups at Nong Nooch. There are several locations around Pattaya that Grab will not allow drivers to pick up passengers for the drivers own safety as there have been attacks by taxi drivers. There is a 7-Eleven to the right hand side of the gate as you leave, a short walk away, and they can pick up there. I choose not to support the taxis and their thuggish ways.Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten January 25, 2024
- Christoffer H28 contributionsVisually the most amazing park I ever visited.600 acres of visual enjoyment, from tropical plants from the ground up to over your head, magnificent art made by stone pellets on walls. All types of animals real live looking and the amazing dinosaurs raging high into the sky the biggest ones. For me as a visual video storyteller I spent 7 hours emerging in to all the details the amazing staff of the park has and still are creating. There are shows, but I feel sorry for the elephants so I do not participate in those activities, riding ect. There is possibilities to buy food and drinks amongst the many bridge walks and there are eating spots to sit down and buy thai and other food/snacks. An incredible park and I highly reccomend do the walking then you really see the details. And bring sunscreen.. I did not ughhh!Visited February 2024Travelled soloWritten February 20, 2024

A large cactus garden that I recommand to visit during the cactus flowering season. The Freanch garden presents a combination of Versailles landscape with Thai golden towers and shrins. Prety statues of a large variety of animals are displayed for kids to enjoy and the Dinosaurus replicas are amazing. Any photografer will be delited in this garden and the Elefant show is well appreciated. We had our launch in the International restaurant, rich of good dishes from all over the globus.Visited February 2024Travelled with friendsWritten May 13, 2024
- Hungry-sailor86San Fernando La Union, Philippines726 contributionsFantastic venue with too much to see in a half dayThis is a huge venue and is packed with plenty to see and do even if gardens are not your thing. Live shows are great and the themed gardens contain plenty to keep the kids interested and include plenty of shaded areas. The buffet meal means you dont need to leave the gardens to find food and has variety for everyone. We spent a half day and only scratched the surface so schedule a full day!Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten June 16, 2024

This enormous 2.5 square km (larger than some countries like Monaco and Vatican) tropical botanical garden exhibits various types of plants in many different styles of gardening. For me, "Dinosaurs valley" is the highlight, since this zone has a lot of dinosaur models of several breeds in actual size. Splendid !
Moreover, there are 2 shows performed in this vast garden. One is elephant show, the outdoor show presenting elephants of all sizes (when they walked in descending size with one's trunk holding another one tail is very adorable ; you can feed them some bananas) and their intelligences. Another show is cultural show which located in a huge theatre showing regional Thais performing their arts. Also, there are plenty of coffee shops, souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes and food court scattering around the place. Last but not least, there is a hotel zone where visitor can spend a night in the midst of the flower garden.
We bought 350 bath tickets which included entrance fee, cultural show, elephant show and tram tour around the garden.
Strongly recommend.

Huge place with an enormous array of plants, especially cacti. Foreign residents treated the same as Thais with regards to costs. The park is absolutely full of dinosaurs and the settings and planting often gives you the feel of being in the Jurassic period. I recommend paying to use the bus as it takes the strain in very hot conditions and you can hop on and off around the park. It also goes where visitors on foot are not allowed to go, particularly through their extensive nurseries. I have never seen so many plants before. The kids would love this place and i think it gives good value for money. The various outlets for refreshments are reasonably priced. Had an enjoyable afternoon.

A complete sham.
We visited the gardens and paid 450 baht online per person ,and after waiting in a long line to manually receive our tickets we entered the park only to discover that we had to pay an extra 200 baht bus ride ti see the sights, the park is very big and not possible to walk through.
The driver’s had an attitude problem and gave a guided tour in Thai ,no English speaking drivers.
The park itself was puzzling, understatement, there were many dinosaurs statues next to panda bear statues followed by shark statues,I didn’t understand the concept or connection to plants.
On the whole a terrible exhibit.
Waste of time and money.

This experience was a little unexpected as I had really read much about it. You arrive via a long drive from the main highway passing many surprising interesting and elaborate sculptures along the route. On arrival you appreciate that the estate is simply huge and has been planned on a Disney styled theme park experience. Entry by ticket costs BHT800 for the gardens and a show which is what we paid. We decided to hop on a sightseeing bus (BHT200 ea) that took us around the areas too far to walk to in the heat. The gardens are amazing and the show was spectacular being in two halves in two stages best described in the pics attached. Recommended you get there at opening time 08.00 as it gets busy by 11.30

Nong Nooch is a tourist attraction icon in Thailand. We spent many leisurely hours comfortably exploring the meticulously maintained gardens, along wide walkways, dotted throughout the four corners of the impressively large property. If you like dinosaurs (?), you will be pleased (like me ...), to see that there are many varieties, 'in residence', here. Additionally, more contemporary animal figurines, from a number of continents, are also on proud display here. There is a lot of botany (as you would expect) flourishing at Nong Nooch Gardens (including some healthy frangipani trees, with impressive flowers on the day we visited), too. Finally, as an added (somewhat surprising) bonus, there is also a fantastic 'car garden', that no doubt many auto enthusiasts will enjoy. In my view it's a place that is well worth checking out. I suggest allowing yourself at least two (2) hours of your time, for the full, non-rushed experience.

Very well manicured gardens. Good for families with kids as there are many dinosaur and other mammal statues, too many for me however. The most disappointing for us was the Orchid Garden, there were maybe 6-8 varieties of flowers and not very many all together, this was my main reason for coming so I was quite disappointed. There is a lot of walking therefore it really is not meant for older people who have trouble walking. There is a tour bus that goes around for an extra 100 bht. Also I suggest you go at opening time, it takes approximately 2 hrs to view the interesting areas along with the bus tour. When we finished at around 11:30 am, there were in excess of 40 tour buses.

This is not a garden, but a concrete ghetto filled with plastic dionaseurs. Even worse, the areas where plants are grown in nurseries is off limits to those on foot. One has to take a bus which wizzies through, not allowing one to stop and study the plants.
They promote sustainability, yet millions of plants are kept in plastic or concrete pots. One area which looked from the outside as a proper garden area was fenced off and the gates locked with a sign reading " conservation area ".
The best description is that of a theme park for kids. Elephants can be hired for rides or bananas can be bought to feed these poor animals. Sports cars and giant wheeled vehicles are featured in a display area. How are these distractions related to a garden or a garden?
Everywhere are signs boasting that Nong Nuch Gardens is one of the top ten best gardens in the world. By whom I wonder ?
My advice to any garden lover is to steer well clear .

We visited the Nong Nooch Botanical Garden in October 2019. It was 4 hours of very good fun. Some of the highlights include feeding the elephants, butterfly park, cultural dance show and elephant show. My daughter enjoyed the elephant show where elephants played soccer and also feeding bananas.
There is also bus tour of Dinosaur Park every half an hour. Nong Nooch is on the way to Bangkok so it would logistically good for you to visit it on the way to Bangkok from Pattaya. Do visit Nong Nooch, especially if you have children with you.

Nong nooch though is more of a zoo though with sculptures of all the animals instead of real ones. The way individual area has been designed is great - like the french garden or the royal pavilion replica. But they have been all put together randomly without any order whatsoever. Dinosaurs are something you will see all across the place. So the place is huge gives a different experience, but putting together all these themes could have been paid more attention to. Also elephant show was a feat by them, cultural show all in local Thai, so not very easy to make out the depiction

Once they unchain the elephants and adopt a more normal setting for the them ,instead of them kicking soccer balls and flinging basketballs, and once they put the tiger in a natural setting instead of having it laying there in a highly drugged condition with its handler poking him with a stick so he raises his head for the photo op , I will rate this place with five instead of one star.
Other than this outrageous treatment of these animals this is a first rate facility that has vastly improved since we last visited some five years ago. There is anole parking , a shuttle service , a great show in the auditorium and a terrific assemblage of botanic.
But the horrendous treatment of these animals put a damper on the day.

The tigers are drugged which is the only reason you can take photos with them. Appalling animal abuse. Elephants are brutally tortured from babies to train them to behave in ways they would not in the wild. This is not just for this attraction but is the case everywhere they have these types of animal shows or photo opportunities. Please consider these things before supporting them. You can buy bananas to feed the elephants for 50b, which is good fun and harmless to the animal.
The gardens are beautiful in their own right, so maybe just enjoy those and don't support the abuse of animals.

Are there shopping options in this place? Any souvenir shops etc?
Written June 29, 2019
The shop is big and has souvenirs, clothing and lots more. They have lots of stuffed animals. They have lots of things for children and for adults as well. I think the prices might be higher than on a marked, but they had some nice stuff, my wife and her daughter spend quite some time in that shop

Добрый день. Подскажите цену. пожалуйста. И как добраться самостоятельно из Патайи?
Written June 14, 2019

Definitely wait until you arrive in Pattaya tocheck weather and tide conditions.
Go to a tour booth, travel agent to get an approximate price.
Then let the hotel meet thst price but know that everything will go smoother and safer.
