Outdoor Ecuador is the best. Brought the whole family for a few weeks of surfing and Spanish school and they took great care of us. We had 5 year old. 10 year old and my wife and I. Can’t say enough positive things about them. We will be back and highly recommend. Everyone is friendly and treat you like family.

The time I spent in Olón was one of the best times of my life. It is such an amazing place to learn Spanish and to learn how to surf or to improve your surfing. Outdoor Ecuador makes you feel like you are staying with family. They welcome you with open arms. I travelled there on my own and had classes with Nadine and Luis during the 5 weeks I took classes at the school. The beautiful classrooms are all outside, so you’ll be learning Spanish in the open air surrounded by tropical plants. The school is located in the center of olon and just a 5 minute walk from the beach. I stayed with a local host family which I highly recommend!! It is such a special way to experience the local traditions, practice your Spanish and learn more about the day to day life in Olon. Besides the Spanish classes, the school offers various activities such as yoga classes, salsa classes, trips to local farms and surf trips. I took an intermediate surfing class with David and he gave me some great tips!! It really is an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

Learning Spanish and surfing in Olón with outdoor ecuador was one of the best experiences I ever had. Form the first day on I felt at home and very welcome, everyone is just so open and kind! My surfing and Spanish both improved more than I ever expected and more than that: thanks to all the people from outdoor ecuador I fell in love with both: Surfing and the Spanish language. I stayed for one month and recommend everyone to do the same or even stay longer. There’s so much to see in and around Olón, great surf or bike trips waiting for you. I can’t thank you all enough for everything, making me feel safe, happy and part of the family! I’m already excited to return.

Karen is an excellent instructor. She is clear, concise, encouraging, effective, intelligent and very professional. We covered many aspects of the Spanish language and wove in cultural insights. When I return next year, I plan to continue my Spanish language journey with her!

We (3 couples) came to Olon in Feb 2024. Outdoor Ecuador is fantastic. We had an incredible time in Ecuador with amazing surf, friendly locals, and amazing food. Olon is a lovely town that felt very safe and comfortable. Outdoor Ecuador is located in a nice area of town and the facilities are great. We found the people of Ecuador so lovely and welcoming. There was a wide array of surf breaks to choose from. The beach break in town is fun and then there are point breaks, other beach breaks and reef breaks north and south of town. I cannot recommend this place enough. Hope to be back soon
