We had the tea tasting as part of the visit to the tea factory, however, we also enjoyed some waffles and ice cream which were prepared right in front of us. Tea tasting is definitely worth a go with many lovely flavours to try. The view across the lake is lovely and offers a relaxed atmosphere. Only issue was that... More

The drive to the gardens is very green but the highlight has to be tea tasting sitting on a verandah overlooking the lake with tea bushes rolling down the slopes. The museum and the factory are disappointing so save your money. It can be bundled with visit to a rummery with some rum tasting which again is not worth the... More

A wonderful day out with family from France who had not seen Mauritius in the last 13 years. Wonderful staff throughout the journey, you could feel the passion not only by the glitter in their eyes but by their welcoming attitude. Definitely what we would expect of a professional, green and cultural tourism focused organisation. Worth the visit!!!! :)

The postcard image of Mauritius can often be too one-dimensional with the predictable white sand beaches and blue lagoons. A trip to the central highlands will provide you with fantastic insight of incredible landscape the island has to offer beyond the exotic beaches... We would recommend travelling firstly via Curepipe to Bois Cheri for quicker access to this venue. Along... More

Lots of options to buy local tea, explore how they make it in the factory, and a chance to see a bit of beautifull Mauritius

There you have the tea plantation, tea factory as well as tea museum. Has been to existence since many years... Tea tasting available many choices! The location of the restaurant is superb, breath-taking panoramic view... Calm and stress-free place where you can relax and enjoy!

This is a beautiful and picturesque road to drive. Look out for Sugar cane Juice seller. Amazing drink. Country side has various interesting plants, including tea gardens, Sugar canes, Lychees etc.

We came here, my wife and I, we had a private tour guide, (which I recommend Mauritours) we visited the tea factory, I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did, it really showed a different side to the tourist Mauritius, it showed how people worked & survived on the island, our tour guide had a wealth...
