We did this as a day trip from Zadar, and it was a lot of fun. We got there midday without a reservation, and they added us and another couple to a bus tour of Canadians for the dairy tour. First though, we got a chance to order a cheese tasting at the tasting room. I like cheese okay, but... More

Second time here. This time with friends. Lovely cheese tasting place, and interesting tour. Clean facility. Fun to taste blends and straight cheeses from cow, goat and ewe. Go to Pag island to enjoy the cheese and olive tasting and the tour!

Average tasting cheeses and overpriced. The cheese tour was too brief with no real knowledge of how to showcase their products. The cheeses are stored in an area where there is a lot of activity instead of being stored in maturing rooms away from unwanted germs. Their cheese shop on the premises has the same prices of their products like their Gligora... More

Pros: variety of cheese and price for a cheese board and tour was 120kn for two, good bi-lingual tour guide. Cons: about 1hr from Zadar, not much else around on the baron island, so you need to like cheese!

I really enjoyed the tour of the Gligora cheese factory! It starts every hour on the hour and lasts about 30 minutes. Only 35 Kunas. Well worth it! You must wear light protective gear, which they provide. They allow you to take photos in certain areas of the factory, which is great. The 6 variety mini cheese tasting plate is... More

A Must do on the island of Pag, very informative tour reasonably priced with optional cheese tasting and wine pairing available. Taste testing opportunity to buy the cheese of choice. Try the small red peppers stuffed with soft cheese. This family owned/operated cheese factory not only continues the long tradition but welcomes all guests with a warm smile and professionalism.... The tour of the factory was excellent. You get to learn about how they make their cheese and what separates it from other cheese companies. At the end you pay a small fee to sample different types of cheese they produce.

I loved the fact that all the staff were so enthusiastic about the cheeses and the way they were produced. There was a fairly brief tour of the production side, with plenty of chances to ask questions, followed by a tasting session which was delicious.
