I have visited the National WW 2 museum in New Orleans and they have two outstanding experiences-- the Tom Hank's movie with excellent special effects and the USS Tang experience. I must say, however, that the Dead Man's corner museum at Saint Come du Mont...More
We had a lovely time there. The 2 museum's were excellent showing both sides of the story equally. The only change that could be made is a small tea room. There is a snack bar outside but if it raining the only place you can...More

Great place to visit, we went in the C47 simulator which worth every penny. Great displays and stories to go with everything, this place has been put together with a lot of thought and is a "must" for anyone going to Normandy.
I'm would suggest 2-3 hours unless it is during the June 6th events. I was there during the events and was it an hour wait to get in the C-47 simulator. I don't think it will take very long during other dates.
