This should be a nice place. However, I was surprised by the massive metallic walkways installed in this historic location in Niebla. This lack of moderation in protecting the place with these invasive metallic structures killed the landscaping. On top of that, there are open...More

I visited Niebla last summer and I really liked it. I really felt I could experience a piece from the past. These fortifications were built during the colonial times by the Spaniards at the Corral bay, in order to protect the Valdivia river from pirates...More

Beautiful view to visit with family and kids. A cheap parking right across from it and short walk to a traditional fair with Chilean food, empanadas, anticuchos, fried dough and more

Free entry. Try to listen to the tour guide (he is dressed as a pirate) as the experience will be much more entertaining. Be warned, at sunset there's a strong wind blowing and it gets kinda cold.

The tour guy speaks and explain everything in english, and he works just for tips. The entrance is free. So is a must go if you are in Valdivia. It has beautiful runways, so is so easy to visit :)
