I visited Saboga island with my family and we got perfect weather to enjoy it. The good: The beach with crystal clear water, cold and delicious. White sand and a very well preserved location. Fair installations, clean bathtooms and beach chairs with umbrellas to protect from the sun. The bad: Just two bathrooms, just two showers, just one restaurant. No... More

We took the Ferry at the Trump Hotel and went to Isla Saboga for the day. The ride there was fine and we were picked up at the dock and brought to our beach club. The beach where we were is nice but the sand is very rough with lots of rocks. The water was a little too cold for... More

The first désappointement was once we found the beach full of small rocks which made it impossible to walk on it. We were able to enjoy the sun and rest but our feet hurt when we tried to take an splash. Another disappointment was the restaurant that did no have full service. They only had a planned lunch and that... More

In about 90 minutes, the Las Perlas Ferry transports people from the dock at the Trump Ocean Cub Hotel to Isla Contadora and Isla Saboga. The round trip cost was $95pp and for $4 more per person, lunch on Saboga was included. A shuttle van meets you at the dock on Saboga and transports you to the Beach Club -... More

Saboga is absolutely one of the most unique islands you can visit. Taboga is nice also -- just two entirely different islands and cultures. The adventurous go to Saboga -- explore eco-touring, spearfishing, jungle trails + very nice beach club. Pacific Islander village "old town" shares the island w / modern 4* vacation rentals in upscale development on opposite side... More

I am very disappointed in reading some 2 stars reviews that are obviously meant for TABOGA and not SABOGA, Saboga is simply a small virgin paradise with incredible clear waters. Nothing and I mean nothing comparable with Taboga which is by far much worst.

This island is certainly worth the journey if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Panama City and relax on a beach or snorkel (chances are you will have a whole beach to yourself). It doesn't have much else to offer - the only place to visit besides the beaches is the town itself which is quite interesting... More

We went for a day trip to Saboga. A very nice place with a calm beautiful sandy beach. The beach has some sun beds and a small bar with coffee and limited options of drinks. They also suggest lunch, two options: fried fish or chicken with rice, salad and potatoes. Some people bring their own food and drinks and arrange... More
