Lovely pub with a great selection of real ales. Lovely outdoor seating area and nice to sit indoors too, especially in the winter when they have the fire going. Very family friendly and dog friendly too. The owners stop to have a chat with you...More

Just been to the above. This was first class. A 3 course Banquet for £16 with live jazz music. We have had a fantastic afternoon in the marquee even when it started to rain...

Went here on a cool spring day when I had deliberately allowed a bit of extra time before my train. Beer was good including the one brewed on site.

Love this pub, best in Ruabon. I don't drink anywhere else!! Try the hooley Dooley red wine- it's beautiful!

Fantastic array of craft beers to try at a very reasonable price. Great atmosphere. Get there on friday or Saturday to avoid disappointment as the popular beers run out!

Constantly changing selection of beers including their own brew. Old building and friendly place, three rooms and outdoor area to rear. Plenty of old books to rummage through.
