I skied twice this year, once in St Johann, Austria and once in Avoriaz. Compared to Austria were the lifts are modern with covers and heated seats the facilities in Avoriaz need investment. Equally there is a lack of good quality toilets.

Avoriaz is on 1800m, but have really good spring skiing. Be prepared that not all slopes in the entire Port de Soleil ate open in late season, but skiing up in Avoriaz and Chatel is really good also in April!
