We were going to snorkel the blue hole. But the wind was very strong. So we opted for climbing the hill and looked down into it. Very cool place to check out and explore.

It is a must on this Island and to get the best View you need to climb up the Hill a bit, however you should also snorkel over the hole.

Turtle Bay, where the Blue Hole is, is absolutely beautiful. You can spend all day here! So restful and peaceful. The Blue Hole is fascinating but be careful. If you feeling energetic you can walk completely around the bay.

We happened to visit Dean's blue hole on the day a diver was attempting (successfully) to set the free diving world record. After the camera crews left, we had the entire place to ourselves. An amazing place.

That resort is not in Long Island Bahamas. Try Bahama Dreamin in Long Island.
