Visited with a young grandchild and her parents and it was a great fun event. A very sweet Easter egg hunt finding bunnies, plenty of nice spots for picnics and a fascinating Dutch style garden. Highly recommended, do enjoy it!

Above all, this is a wonderful place just to be in. There is variety of plants, shrubs, trees and flowers. Each interesting in their own right. Don't miss the Tulip Wood paneling in the Observation Folly. A place to be savoured.

Although a small national trust property, it still took us two hours to walk around. Lovely manicured lawns, flowers are identified for everyone and large Koi carp swimming in the canals. Brilliant birdlife living in the hedges.

First visit back to this venue this year. They have done lots of work over the closed winter period. Some very heavy pruning is much in evidence. Really opened up the gardens to the view. Some will not like what has been done. As a gardener myself I can see the benefits this will have for the future. The gardens... More

I managed to visit the gardens on a very stormy day, so the heavy rain had spoilt some of the flowers. The gardens are well worth a visit and give some ideas for which plants to use in your own gardens. You are able to look down on the gardens from the pavilion but I had my dog with me... More

We have been a member of the National Trust now for over 2 years, and have never been to our local gardens at Westbury on Severn. What a great place to visit, beautiful Dutch Gardens and Water features including Kyo Carp. It's defiantly a great place to visit. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. I would rate these... Visited here with my daughter and my friend and her daughter but didnt realise it would be so small. Greeted by a lovely lady when we went in, asked the girls if they would like to feed the fish and gave them a cup of fish food each which they were pleased with so enjoyed feeding the fish, gosh some... This was a random choice from the map, but it was truely worth the trip. The gardens are beautiful and there are loads of things to see. The children loved looking for the fish in the pond and also spotting the wildlife living among the plants. Will definitely visit again, maybe in the spring to see it in a different... More

Really enjoyed our visit here. The garden is fairly small but has such a history and impressive restoration story - it's worth the visit. Owned by the National Trust it is a credit to the one full time gardener and his support team of part time gardeners and volunteers that this garden is so well cared for and clearly loved.... More

This is a rare gem of a garden it was all the rage at during the reign of William of Orange. It's very peaceful and faithfully recreated and restored and it's great for photographs , and kids love running around there. They have two big ponds one with lilies and some nice nooks and crannies to get lost in with... More
