Well worth a visit. Friendly staff and gorgeous views. Sadly we didn't have the weather so had to turn back half way along but I would return on a brighter day. You do need to be relatively fit as over 600 steps Worth the entry fee

Thank you for your great review. I hope that you weren't literally half way when you turned around as it would have been worth your while just continuing on for the second half. The small humped bridge at the bottom of the gorge is the half way point. From there on it's upwards in either direction. I hope that you... More

Reasonable value at £2 a head Well stocked souvenir shop and ice cream stall. Outside seating Good parking but access is not for the faint hearted or disabled as there are 675 steps to the three bridges and the rest of the attraction

Great Hike if not a little tiring for those who are of a low fitness level. About an hour and 10 it took us. Cost two pounds but worth it if your willing to walk. Wear hiking boats that you don't mind getting wet and dirty but with a lot of grip. Very slippery and mostly climbing.

Undertook the walk/mountaineering last Saturday, yes it was hard going but worth it for the views & spectacular falls. How anyone can complain about the £1 fee I can't understand. A real sense of achievement at the finish! But please note sensible footwear is a must!

Just came back from A weekend away and visited here. It was winter season and arrived at 10am and the entrance was closed but we put £2 each in the turnstile to get through (it was open when we came out). It is quite a challenging walk all around the amazing waterfall and the 3 Bridge with fable stories to... More

Didn't realise when started trail how difficult it would be, the 45 min walk took my husband and me 2hours.. warnings of even steep steps didn't give enough warning to the difficulty of doing the trail. If we had known before hand no way would we have undertaken trail. After saying that felt it was achievement when we finished trail...

Thank you for your comments and review. I am sorry that you weren't aware of just how steep the walk is. We advertise it as a nature trail walk that descends into the gorge with many steep uneven steps and not suitable for those with walking difficulties. It's very hard to generalise the walk as everyone has different fitness levels... More

The falls were good as it rained heavy dont think you should have to pay £1.00 as nature should always be free and i dont think it would take much upkeep they must make enough of ice cream sales to do this.

Hi Natalie Thank you for visiting. The waterfalls walk doesn't sell any icecream!!!! The icecream man sells the icecream. Different business. We pay a lot of rates, step upkeep, marketing, vat and insurance and wages to make it possible for visitors to see the 'nature' which would be unsafe and inaccessible without the path and railings that we provide. Surely... More

Visited with friends on a very, very wet & windy Sunday! Fabulous scenery with lots of information contained in the guide book. The going is quite tough - particularly the extremely steep descent of steps called Jacob's Ladder. There are handrails all along the route and plenty of (welcome) areas to stop and take in the breathtaking views of the... More
