Great little escorted tour through the museum and up to the top of the lighthouse. Watch a video on the refurbishing of the lighthouse. Climbed to the top of the lighthouse... read more

My husband and I have been waiting for a long time for the restoration to be finished. This beautiful Imperial tower has been restored to her former glory. We where able to climb this majestic tower (one of five towers) in Ontario, Canada.

This is perhaps the best lighthouse on the western coast of Ontario. It has recently been restored and includes a gift shop, a museum, and a tour. The climb is not difficult and is suitable for children. The views from the top is awesome. There are plenty of photo ops from the ground as well, as the complex includes three... More

We visited on a Sunday during the Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately the lighthouse was not open as we arrived later in the day well after 5:00 PM. We found a wonderful beach area, a launch area for watercraft and the attraction we wanted to see the lighthouse. In a day and age when these structures are being made obsolete it... More

We have vacationed in Point Clark for a number of years and the lighthouse had been closed for restoration for five years prior. I finally had the opportunity to tour this year. The tour is well worth the price of $5 to climb the 114 steps and stand beside the light as well as view the lake area. The tour... More

I love to see old history, so this was pretty great for those who have an inner geek. Unfortunately the museum wasn't open.. It would of to see more story boards outside.

We started our tour at this location as recommended in the website Lighthouse Tour. Great picture opportunities as well as a park around it to relax, washrooms, ice-cream stand around, lots of places for picnic, Volleyball in the sand, it was a nice spot, will recommend it if you are driving around the area.

We have friends with a cottage on Bruce Beach. We had gone as visitors for many years and biked to get ice cream, view the lighthouse and tour the Point Clark area. We loved the area so much that we bought a cottage there last summer. It is the best investment we have made!

The Point Clark lighthouse has been closed for repairs for a number of years now, so we were very happy to finally be able to climb the lighthouse when it reopened in 2015. 114 steps to the top, with a quite steep ascension for the last two flights. The view is fantastic and this lighthouse is a must see for... More

On our way to Southampton, we stopped at Point Clark for a picnic and to visit the lighthouse. This lighthouse is a national historic site; it has been fully restored and looks just beautiful. For a small fee, you can get a tour of the lighthouse - this includes a climb up to the top, a short movie, and a... More
