We walk to Uncle Tom's from Southchurch park, along the beach with the dogs, stop at Uncle Tom's for coffee and a sausage roll or pasty, before walking back again. Dogs allowed in too so good for us doggy people.
As a child this was where I went on holiday. Today, my son enjoys visiting. The quality of the beach is noticeable.
The facilities block was valuable in the old days and remains so today.
We did not use Tom's Cabin on this occasion.
