Not a good time to visit if you want to see the graffiti on the castle. It is all covered in scaffolding and you can't really see it at all. Shame as I can't go back and it should be noted on their web site.

Largs station is only around 2 mile away from Kelburn castle I thought about it by train awaits do able . Largs is a proper little town centre and getting a taxi I can imagine is easy . Hope this helps 😊

it's over a hour drive to Kelburn Castle, there is no indoor play area, if you have a nice dry day i would recomend the drive up the coast and kelburn, if it's raining forget it, my 3 old loved the secret garden running... More
