Very good aquarium with a variety of fish on display. Many fish are very large (may be a bit too large for their tanks though). No admission entrance. The children had a lot of fun. Don't forget to visit other attractions in the area, such as the Sea Farming Demonstration Unit.

Located on Laem Sadet beach with a large amount of parking available, but during my first attempt to visit the aquarium it was at the weekend and it was inundated with coach loads of people and I abandoned the visit so I would recommend a week day visit if possible, much quieter. The building is of modern design and has... More

I would have to disagree with the other reviewers I'm afraid. Most of the tanks are tiny and absolutely not suited to the size of the fish they hold. There are many fish species. There also an overhead tunnel part where the bigger fish - groupers and ray fish are... More

Since the Aquarium is free and still pretty well maintained its hard to complain. It's our second visit and our son loves it, we did three rounds in there before he was satisfied.

We have been visiting the Chanthaburi coastline since May 2010, and now live there; the aquarium is a favourite for children, very popular stop-off for bus tours. Every time we have visitors it's 'off to see the fish'. And entry is free! Beautiful location at Laem Sadet beach (though a warning the beach can be dangerous in wet/monsoon season gets... More
