So often we forget what shaped our parliamentary system - visit the Cromwell Museum to see it in the making. Cromwell was a significant person who led the this change, and the museum holds many articles of interest, both family and English history

The town rightly makes much of its Cromwell connections and this museum is the jewel in the crown. The building itself is worth a visit even without the TC link. This is a one room museum but crammed with paintings, documentation, weapons and other period...More

What a pleasant find. Very relaxed and informative, small enough to be able to digest all the displays and learn more about such a historical figure.

Interesting historical place from which I learnt all about Oliver Cromwell. It is located in the centre of the town and with a free entrance. I highly recommend it

Small, but perfectly formed museum that deals with everything Oliver Cromwell, the most famous son of the town. Be prepared to interrogate staff who are knowledgeable. Only a few hours needed, unless you are an Oliver Cromwell scholar, then a visit could take considerably longer.
