Carmarthen market has kept it’s character although it has been relocated to a new building in the last decade. Located in Carmarthen centre right next to popular shops. It still has the traditional traders. My two most frequent visits are to Siop y Pentan selling...More

Visited the market today. This was our first visit to the town and it was very enjoyable. Market is small but had some good stalls.

There is a really nice fruit and veg stand over to the left as you walk through the main entrance. Fruit there is lovely and the staff are really friendly. I go there most lunchtimes for a fruit pot. Totally recommended.

We came upon this by chance. A really good mix of stalls for crafts etc and trad market fare all in a light airy warm building.

The market isn't a hotel. Try again, and good luck. I hour you find somewhere. PS the shopmobility service in Carmarthen is great!
