Have been many times over the years. Lovely parkland and forest paths. Play poo-sticks from the various bridges and admire the deer. There are some interesting trees in the small arboretum near the house.

We had our wedding photos taken here in the autumn, how beautiful! We often go back for walks now with our two kids.

Our Son and daughter-in-law were married here on 09/07/16 and it was the most perfect place for a wedding. Marlene and her staff made it all run like clock work and everyone felt very much at ease which is very unusual at a wedding as it can be quite a stressful day! The House and grounds are beautiful and the... More

We went for a walk whilst staying in the area, we were very impressed, the park was extremely tidy and everyone there seemed friendly :)

This is a lovely spot but the addition of a coffee shop would really help it. There are several different walks you can do to suit age and ability. The house itself is a trading centre for young people so there is no access. It's very pleasant though the maintainence of pathways and gardens is fairly basic.

This was the chosen venue for a business conference - and an excellent choice. Here are the plus marks that would make me consider using it again: * Good location and easy access from motorway * Great rooms with atmosphere of a Country House with history * Lovely grounds with space to walk and breathe * Very helpful staff -... This is a beautiful location for a lovely walk to get away from the materialism of modern life. Glad to see know no children's play area, instead just nature and open space to enjoy. Really love it there! Seeing the white deer is such an added bonus.

A nice place in the country for a short easy walk through a small field and woods with white deer. Spent about 40 minutes here and didn't feel rushed, but you could certainly spend longer.

Dreamy location for my brother's wedding last week. The exquisite old manor house is so well preserved and interesting, the library and the Long Room are so historically interesting. Greeted by lovely blazing fireplaces, though luckily a beautiful day. Children could play on the lawn and guests enjoy sitting outside also. The manager arranged the wedding events smoothly and our... More
