Excellent visitor attraction with reasonably priced entrance fee, friendly staff and short guided tour included. Allow at least one and a half hours to see it all.

A small but historically interesting castle, being largely unchanged from its original Norman form. However, the presentation can only be described as tacky, with cartoonish painted manikins and murals lurking round every corner. Really needs to be stripped back and cleaned up. Still worth seeing.

Brilliant location steeped I history and a superb place to visit, cheap in £5 entry and a good few hours walking the walls looking at Belfast harbour, well recommended
