Situated on the edge of Stranford Lough, Mount Stewart has acres of beautifully designed and very exotic gardens, surrounding a lake. There is also a NT house but we didn't visit. Liked the red squirrel hide and wildflower meadow. Great tea room as well.

Mount Stewart was amazing. we ended up spending around 4 hours there after initially thinking it wouldn't take us more than 1. gardens are incredible and well kept and the house tour was very intriguing
