If you are in Belfast this is a must property to visit. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and the house is very interesting. Do visit if you can.

Visited this lovely NT property on a warm July day.The house is welcoming and the staff in all the rooms were knowledgeable and eager to share the stories and history of the house and owners. The gardens are divine!

yes there is a fee to visit the house and Gardens. I can't remember how much it cost, the tearoom is lovely everything is home baked.

Ian's reply is the best option. Public transport to / from Mount Stewart is rather infrequent. Hiring a car for a limited period is unlikely to be a cost-effective option. Taxi may be costly, but it enables you to decide... More
