Frank's never fails to please. We always get a warm welcome from Gary and his bar staff. Hubby tells me the Guinness is great and I had a lovely g&t. It's the sort of bar where you fall into conversation with the people around you and I've always felt welcome. Best bar in Ireland.

Good service from our favourite bar owner Damien. Always friendly and helpful -/chatty the best bar in town with out a doubt. Just ask My Friend Victor who was singing his praises .wait to hear what he has to say about some of the competition.

Went with friends home on holiday. Still a fabulous traditional pub but now with a range of designer gins and tonics. Also has one of the Game of Thrones doors which looks entirely in keeping with the rest of the decor. So lucky to have this friendly family run business in Limavady.

What has happened limavady? Used to have great bars with loads ppl and plenty of Craic now it's like a ghost town. If it wasn't for Frank's I doubt limavady wud survive. 3 of us had a good laugh, great selection of good beer and unlike some bars all pints were fresh and cool. Better choice of familiar beers you... More

We visited as part of a tour of the GoT doors. The owner was wonderfully welcoming, sat down and chatted with us. Great, roaring fire, homely little chairs and tables. We were really sorry to leave and promised we would come back for a night's craic.

Always my first stop for a pint, great staff and owners, charming spot and great for birthdays. Hosts the Jazz n Blues festival every year and has a huge marquee for weddings and larger parties although the outdoor bar out the back can hold 100 I would think. Had my birthday here and it's a fab spot. Highly recommend for... More

We called in primarily to see the Game of Thrones door and thought we might as well have a pint at the same time. The welcome we were given was quite simply the best we've had in any bar during our 2 week stay in Northern Ireland. The bar is full of history, and the host was quite happy to... More

I waited patiently outside until 11:30am on the button before approaching the man who'd just opened the front door. It turned out to be Damien Owens, proprietor and son of the legendary Frank Owens. He welcomed me in and, upon hearing I was there to see the famous Game of Thrones door, rushed to offer me a drink. I chose... More

Popped by on recommendation from taxi driver after dinner next door and was immediately welcomed. Bar was heaving but we were still served instantly. Barman Damien got talking to us, found out it was our honeymoon and shared news with other customers who were all very kind and buying us drinks! Never had such a friendly atmosphere in a bar,... Lovely service with a smile and they had the best relaxed atmosphere. Also we went for the game of thrones door and we weren't disappointed.
