I am not an expert on old Saxon churches, but our travelling companions found it very exciting. It is very central and so is easy to visit if you are near the bridge or station.

It won't take you long to look around but do go in as it is unusual to have such an old church. Beautiful details and history.

Worth a look if you are that side of town. Has interesting history particularly its multiple uses over time.

Stumbled upon this church. Beautiful in the sunlight and had a fantastic ambience. Worth visiting when doing a loop through BOA town to the barn and river bridge.

This is worth popping in to see. A Saxon church, that has a working clock, in a transparent case. Why I do not know. First time we had seen this.

This very small small little church is amazing and well worth taking the time to see. We approached it via a pretty walk from the River Avon, by some very interesting old houses and history.

Located in the heart of Bradford on Avon is the Saxon church. It is compact and atmospheric. It is unclear what is original and how much is restored. Well worth a view.

What a lovely, unspoilt place of worship ! It’s easily found near the river, just a stone’s throw from the town centre. Small and simple inside, but one can imagine the centuries of people coming inside for some quiet reflection and/or prayer.
