Lived locally for 6 years and never visited. One of those days late August made the effort and well worth a few hours indoors. Took a quick trip around the grounds (weather not really suitable) but a nice day could easily be taken up here.

Thoroughly enjoyed the two hours that we spent in Corsham. Interesting shops and nice cafes. No trouble parking either.

Went to visit the Court. Had lunch in the village, lovely old village and houses, can see why they used it for the back-drop to Poldark. Tourist Information Centre had a display on the filming.

This is a super 'working' village where part of the TV sereis 'Poldark' was shot. not full of tourists like Lacock - much better value

A very nice little town but overshadowed by much prettier villages in the area. Parking very reasonably and a pleasant stroll up the Main Street.

The walking street is really nice, beautiful old houses and some quirky shops, easy parking, a great 30-45 minute stroll

Not a very big place but a few nice eating places. The historic High Street is quite pretty and one can see why it was used in the BBC production of Poldark. Didn't see the peacocks which roam the streets, and didn't get to see...More
