I've been to the Pomegranate to watch plays and musicals, but not to watch a film.I hadn't seen Beauty and the Beast yet,so decided to make it an Easter Monday outing. The 1.30 showing was ideal, time for shopping and lunch first.I found the prices reasonable,I'm a concession, also I booked online and could choose a good seat.It was very enjoyable, the old fashioned theatre... recent trip to chesterfield to see a show, first time here and really enjoyed the whole night, theatre is clean and olde worlde' bar is sufficient downstairs before the start. lots of places to drink that afternoon York house for food and the white swan for drinks all brilliant. I'm sure we'll be back this year at some point.

First of all I want to say that most of the other visitors/customers that come here are some of the most rude and ignorant people that I've ever encountered. IT'S NOT THE WEST END - so get over yourselves!!!! I was pushed/stared at/made to feel really uncomfortable. The seats are hardly signed so you'll have trouble finding them. They were... More

Comfortable seat & clear view, knocked a mark off as it was a little chilly and I did find the noise a bit loud.

Went to see star wars latest film, really fancied seeing it in a more traditional cinema. the picture and sound quality were very good, as good as any other very comfortable seating extra leg room available on booking, friendly staff, well maintained, clean, will be going again.

The tickets stated that the show began at 7 pm so we arrived at 6.45, had to pay for 2 hours parking.. to cover us to 8pm, but when doors open at 7 we find the live feed from the Royal opera house starts at 7 20 and the show itself at 7.30.

Had a brilliant night at the pomegranate made even better by the on duty manager. I'm currently suffering from an injury and Gemma made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Brilliant customer service, a credit to the pomegranate

Staff very friendly, the theatre it's self needs a good revamp. Very dated. Surprised how many rude people attended. No manners at all. The show itself weren't very good either, poor performances from the main characters. Won't go again in a hurry.

Visited the pomegranate theatre at short notice with 2 ten year olds for aladdin Panto . Wasn't let down very comical and entertaining especially the 2 policemen you and me who were fab and had us in stitches throughout the show. All the cast were very good and overall a very good Panto to watch this Christmas 10/10.
