This is a very small but lovely & clean working station. It is only about a 5 minute walk from matlock bath which itself is lovely,

We went on the steam train to Matlock and it was very enjoyable. The staff was great. Everyone enjoy waving to passing car. Wold love to do the Christmas experience

the railway is signposted, it does seems like you may have taken a wrong turn but keep following the signs. The platform is spotless and has lots of items to look at whilst you wait for the train also a cafe for drinks and snacks....More

We had a nice time. We boarded the train at Rowsley, and travelled to Matlock. Walked round the town then returned. Stand very friendly, and the trains were very comfortable. This is the first time that we have visited, and we will definitely return.

I visited this place I was on a caravan holiday in the peak district. the staff were friendly and were helpful, I will visit this place if I ever go stay in the peak district again.

You will need to go on their website and look. They will be running on saturday and sunday. Or ring them up.

Ticket is for all day. You can get on and off as you please.

Yes it is, and at certain times you can get an all day ticket so you can travel up and down the line as much as you like
