Had a lovely afternoon walking here over the weekend. It is very hidden, I didn’t even know it was there. A lovely place to wander around, lots of hidden wonders here. The waterfalls are stunning. Definitely recommend a walk here.

Absolutely loved our time here. Really enjoyed just exploring the abandoned buildings and discovering more and more waterfalls. Some really beautiful scenery around and some great walks about. A truly hidden gem. Highly recommend.

Staying nearby, the wife and i took a morning to explore the excellent hidden valley of industrial wonder that is Lumsdale. Lots to explore, with mill ponds, waterfalls, old industrial ruins, chimneys and nature trying to reclaim all. A little tricky to find the way...More

A walk through a valley full of industrial history. Good explanation boards. Fairly easy walking although there are plenty of steps. Scenic waterfalls. Well worth a morning stroll

The place has much more to offer. The walk to the top of falls itself is amazing. The ruins of the mills are seen. There are railings and support to hold over the steps so made it convenient for my aged parents. Would highly recommend...More

Secluded spot well worth finding with some interesting historical building remains and the lovely waterfall and stream. Went in a very dry August but the fall was still impressive - will have to go back after a rainy season. Go find it..

The road directly north of Lumsdale valley has a free layby (opposite the school). Have a good trip.

If you park by the school and follow the river until you want to turn around and come back you will be able to retrace steps following the river back upstream.

There isn't a car park. It isn't an attractionh, it's a steep wooded valley. You'll need to park somewhere else, probably by the school at the top and walk. Take proper walking boots too.
