If like us you are interested in the Elizabethan era then a visit to Mary Newmans cottage is a must do. Small, but very interesting and a lovely cup of tea and a scone with jam and cream rounded off the visit nicely.

Beautifully decorated. A fantastic old fashioned Christmasy fill with a roaring fire, mulled wine and bell ringers. The wardens that look after the cottage were extremely friendly and wellcoming. A must to visit this 14th century cottage. Look out for the years events.
