Lovely coffee bar with spectacular view of Lough Neagh . Very child friendly and bringing a prayer into the restaurant was no problem at all. A great place to meet friends for a catch up.

Considering how close the centre is to the M2 it is an amazing oasis of peace and tranquility. Anyone who loves nature or simply enjoys a good walk should make this a regular place to visit. The centre itself is well laid out and the cafe/restaurant offers excellent food at amazingly low prices.

This place is easy to find just off the Lurgan junction of the m1 signed for oxford island. Very much worth a visit and lovely walks around the shore. The restaurant also does lovely Sunday lunches. Recommended

Really great place for photos. There's the small birds who will eat seed out of your hand; the ducks and swans, the landscape; the remains of an old pier; the Loughshore birds from the hides and then you can travel to Pier Rampart to photograph an old pier - not in January though as the wasteland/field I dandered through was... Me and my wife spent a few hours her with our nephew, we spent some time in the centre looking around the exhibition, my nephew enjoyed seeing all the different animals, the staff in the centre were helpful but maybe came over a little false. We then enjoyed a little walk before my nephew enjoyed playing in the play area.... More

I have visited the Discovery Centre several times recently with my father who is living in a local care home. For him the cafe is heaven on earth. The home-made scones bigger than your fist are delicious and he loves with a very sweet cappuccino. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Sitting there watching the swallows swoop and the... More

Been here once before and food was acceptable but was back on Sunday for lunch with my wife and the food was truly terrible. We are very little paid up and left. We won't be back
