March - Mid April we have 800 ewes lambing and 80 Cows calving so come and see a real working farm and take the tractor ride to the top of the downs to see the ewes and lambs out in the fields. Through the summer we have trips around the farm lasting over 1 hour to see the animals, crops and conservation areas.

Been here a few times and it's a small but lovely little farm. Nice for a short trip. The tractor ride is always a fun trip up the fields to see the Sussex Downs and local sites.

This farm is set in beautiful rolling Sussex countryside and yet is also close to the sea. During Lambing season it opens to the public so you can visit and see the lambs and calves being born. What's great is that visitors get to see...More

Our money was taken and only then were we told that it was a slow day and unlikely that we would see any 'late night lambing'. We were assured however, that two calves had been born the previous evening. We then wandered around barns looking...More

I am sorry that no lambs were born when you were here, We have no way of knowing what nature will do. Over 1,200 lambs are born over 6 weeks and we still have approx 100 ewes to lamb in the last 4 days, so...More

My cynical and reluctant pre-teen boys couldn't help but be moved by the sight of a new born calf attempting to stand on wobbly legs. Plus they said the lambs were very soft! We stayed a couple of hours and loved the bumpy tractor ride....More

Both adults and kids enjoyed ourselves. Being a working farm, there is a level of authenticity that is different from typical farm attractions, but at much lower prices. Our younger ones especially enjoyed interacting with the recently born lambs. Adults were wide eyed and fascinated...More
