Was here for a one man show and turrly enjoyed myself. Not at all expensive and at the interlude there was refreshments served by Joe. Great place to watch a show. You feel like the person on stage is for you only. Very intimate. Recommended anyone in Listowel to give it a try, you won't be dissapointed.

Had a very entertaining night in the theatre. Young and old amateur actors doing a brilliant job! If you are around it's worth a visit! :-)

We did not enter this structure but used it as a meeting place for our group. There are benches outside which were great for people-watching

This is a really beautiful theatre situated in the middle of the square in Listowel. There wasn't a play on at the time but the staff let us look at the place and gave us a bit of history on the building.

Had a wonderful entertaining evening @ Blithe Spirit in the intimacy of St John's, perfect spot for such plays right in the centre of Listowel. At 1/2 time we all spilled out onto the square with our cup of coffee & glass of wine. Most pleasant & theatrical staff & the play was brilliant, props, acting, costumes & set. This... More

St. John's is a converted Church of Ireland place of worship which is used as a local theatre and arts center providing plays, musical gatherings and art exhibitions all at a very reasonable cost.

St Johns is a great venue for both Drama and Concerts and the Heritage Centre worth a visit too. There are sometimes art exhibitations too. The building itself is beautiful. Built as a Protestant church in 1819 it was restored and is central in the Square in Listowel.

Brilliant theatre, with an excellent programme throughout the year. I don't get to come here half as much as I'd like, but always enjoy it when I do.

The theatre, a converted church in the Listowel Square, is a cultural gem. There are art exhibits and cinema; music and shows. The performances range from traditional music to blue grass, country and classical concerts. I have been privileged to see musicians I didn't know but who have become part of my music repertoire, thanks to St. John's. But my... More
