We visited late in the day and had the place to ourselves. The cemetery surrounding it is still in use, so it was a solemn walk to get to the ruins of the church. In front of the church is a pillar with a hole at the top of it -- hook your thumbs through it and renew your vows.... More

When you see these ancient ruins it boggles the mind that they are still standing. Taking a tour and learning the history totally enhances what you are looking at!

Walk this cemetery and you walk back in time. There is still stone cravings and etching in the stone archways of the church.

History all around you! Wonderful site to visit. Read the old grave markers, imagine who sat in this church centuries ago.

This was nice to see but really the drive around Dingle was the best part. There is not a lot to do once you get there.

Nice spot. We had no trouble getting inside the grounds and building. Many old graves and one possesses a US Military Cemetary headstone. Interesting. Worth 15-30 minutes of good weather browsing.

The gate was locked and e couldn't enter, and thus you can only look at it from a distance, from a single angle. Since it is adjacent to Kilmalkedar Church (which is a don't miss attraction), it is worth the walk up to the gate to take a look.

This is basically some old stone ruins where the wood parts of the structures have rotted and decayed.
