Our tour guide recommended that we stop in to hear some good Irish music. We got to listen to Tommy O'Sullivan & Caroline Keane play for more than 2 hours. We were thrilled to see them in person and loved hearing them play. We wanted authentic Irish music, and this was it!

Fun night of Irish music. When we arrived not too crowded and was able to get a table in the corner. As the night progressed it got increasingly crowded, standing room only, so our seats weren't going to work so we ended up standing to see. That was fine. We came to realize throughout Ireland the music starts when the music starts, LOL! So if they say 9:30pm be prepared give it an extra 1/2 hour or more before it begins. Not a big deal, just take in the whole experience. Tommy O'Sullivan performed with another musician. They were excellent, enjoyed hearing traditional Irish music, that is what we were there for.

We started the night off at a different pub that advertised live traditional music but didn’t deliver. So we were thrilled to walk by Courthouse Pub and hear the real thing! We went in and pulled up some stools, and were toe tapping in no time. We especially loved to watch the Irish bagpipe being played. If course, the whiskey is good too! It doesn’t get any more authentic than this.

Excellent music. Good craic. We had seen the owner perform at the St. James Church concert series and came over afterward. If you want to see traditional Irish music and incredible musicians, this is the place to go. It is cash only so make sure to bring some with you.

It gets relatively good reviews but I have to wonder, why? We gave it two tries while in Dingle for a weekend, but the appeal of this place started and ended with the exterior of the building. The inside is downright aesthetically depressing, from the decor to the seating. To say it's a dive would give it more character than it deserves, it's just plain dull. And I'm sure the musicians are lovely people and are decent players, but, nearly all of their set list/song choices, both nights, almost put us to sleep, low to no energy music. It's, unfortunately, not a comfortable, charming, friendly, fun, pub that I would recommend to friends. Doubt a 3rd time would be a charm with O'Sullivan's in it's current state, it's not for everyone, but it has potential with changes.

If you love music with a passion don’t pass by this pub. We had been following the music here on Facebook, so we knew we were in for a treat and we weren’t disappointed, the musicians were so talented and really enjoying themselves which made a brilliant atmosphere. Helpful bar staff lovely Guinness and a roaring fire, you can’t ask for more.

Tommy O Sullivan runs a very fun pub, with great music! We visited in October 2021 and that pub was the best pub in our entire 10 days in Ireland. Ask Tommy and Saundra to play the Galway Shawl, with a young man on the squeeze Box named Connor, it is riveting! If not for another reservation in Killarney, we would have stayed longer in Dingle. Walked into Dingle Pub and were treated quite poorly , but not at Tommy's !

Tommy and Saundra have put together a highly unique and magical tour which explores the heart of Ireland's past. They have garnered talented experts to better teach the historical and mystical... from medieval walking tours to ancient monastic ruins, all while enjoying the best Craic one can imagine. The scenery, as well as the fine selection of lodging will leave you in awe. Now add in the musical and whimsical aspects... truly an unforgettable memory.
If you are considering visiting Ireland via a tour, this is your right move.

Horrible place, arrived here with my partner and a couple of friends after being told it was a good spot for Irish music. How wrong this was. The place was overcrowded and very small. It took 40 minutes to get drink from a disinterested barman (tall curly hair). Their was a brash American behind the counter too. Bad vibe about the place. Toilets filthy too, stay clear of the place, lots of other nice bars in this small town.

Does anyone know if they have gluten-free beer available here? If not, is there any pub in Dingle with gluten-free beer?

Hi. Will be traveling to Ireland in mid July with my 10 year old son. Will he be allowed to enter your establishment? Traveling from the USA. Thank you

The children are allowed in as long as they behave themselves. It is a bar, not a playground
