Good food and service when very busy

Great range of food, generous portion sizes, good service and all when busy. Looked quaint and interesting downstairs, we were in a private area upstairs.

We were on Booking.com on a Sunday and we decided to book something for that night, found this bargain and went for it! Went into the bar told them we book a night stay and they gave us the keys, it's a separate door from the pub but it's only right beside it. Booked a double with sea view which... More

We were staying in Bundoran for the night and went for dinner. The pub has lots of character and staff were very friendly and welcoming, with a good knowledge of the menu. Meals were delicious and deserts too. Would definitely recommend.

Great wee pub..great grub..made feel so welcome..came here as didn't like what the hotel had to offer at lunch time. Waiter and bar man was so nice and gave us exactly what we asked for. Nice Irish Trad music would defo recommend this place and hope to be back some day.

Before I stayed I read the reviews about the b&b and was hesitant about staying ,hearing about the grumpy staff and terrible rooms, well I have to say it was a great experience, pleasant friendly staff, clean spacious room with sea view and food to die for, would definitely be back . Defo worth a stay , will be back

Anytime we are in Bundoran and looking for food or a decent pint of Guinness we make sure and stop in at Maddens. Great food and not over priced.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch (which is reviewed as a separate entry for just the restaurant) and had some very nice Irish entertainment while eating. There was Irish music, Irish dancing and men in traditional, Irish dress costumes. Very, cool.
