Gilbert & Wright has taken this vibrant town by storm. Attracting a broad mix of people, it has quickly established a name for its relaxed, informal yet intimate atmosphere with a '70s retro vibe. It's the place to be to enjoy a drink with friends or casual bistro-style food, with the iconic music of the Seventies in the background and surrounded by funky decor that includes comfy couches and shag pile carpets. Together, they make Gilbert & Wright experience a truly memorable one

Had a few drinks at Wrights, staff seemed friendly & polite. We easily (maybe luckily) got a seat in a quiet (ish) corner, there was a complete mix of people, groups, couples, friends. All fitted in though. Good music, dancing & a nice atmosphere in general. Clean toilets, well kept.

On the main street in Malahide. Can be noisy and bustling and offers different entertainment options through the week. Very, very welcoming and of course a great range of drinks

Clown of a bartender overcharged for drink and got snotty when I corrected him, lovely experience! He had no idea of how to make and charge for the drink, train your staff better and ask them to lose the attitude.

Not good. Barman need more training I think the staff need hygiene training the staff pick up lemon and lime segments for spirits or bottles and use there fingers. As a proffesional you would always use a tongs. Barmen and woman to busy chatting to each other to serve This pub is not what it seems. I will review in... More

Didn't think it was possible to have the rudest barman in the world in an Irish pub. Being from overseas and well travelled I was not sure how last drinks worked. I was rudely told the bar was closed and when I said I was from Australia he said "well I'm from Mayo and I know how it works". He... More

If this place took away the loud blaring loudspeakers pedalling out sports channels to those sitting nowhere near a tv i.e. those with no interest in the sports bar vibe it would do a lot better. There would be no harm in one of malahide's tiny splattering of pubs to try and do something better or different.

Great cocktails, live music was good but a bit loud for a midweek night when the bar was not particularly busy.

Me and my partner spent a lovely day out in malahide beach enjoying the sunshine and decided to go into this "pub" . We walked in and the place was quite empty so we walked to the bar and waited to be order for some time while the egotistical manager was having a conversation with some of the punters he... More

Had seen their €5 cocktail of the week advertised so decided to pop in for one before dinner. For a €5 cocktail he certainly took his time making them and there was no shortage of lovely ingredients. I really enjoyed it. The pub itself was quiet when we were there (early Friday evening) but there were plenty of older gentlemen... More
