This is a great area and beach to visit , sand and sea is super clean and on a good day the surf can be second to none in the area , walks around this area are stunning with lots of wildlife to look out for.

For years I had heard people talk about Inchydoney but never made it there - it's just a beach right, how different can it be? How wrong I was .... I visited with two of my daughters one sunny day in January and was blown away with how amazing this beach is. Now I must admit it does seem to... More

A beach is a beach ---- then there is Inchidoney beach. !!! Anytime of day is a good time to be there. Seemingly endless to walk on with nearby hotel for a rewarding cuppa.

No matter what time of the year it is there will always be people around so you won't feel isolated in any way. The view is spectacular. It's such a sweeping area with so much to offer for all ages. Be it and active day out with the family or quiet 'alone time' to yourself this place is ideal!

Miles of beautiful beaches all split into wide sections, even on a windy day well worth a walk, no matter when I walk the beach I always find other people walking their dogs or people running and i can see why with the great views alround.

Walked on this beach several times over a weekend from 7.30am when fully deserted to a Sunday afternoon with a good gathering of people, kids & dogs it has to be one of the best beaches in Ireland Hotel just off it if you want food or a coffee afterwords or even Sunday Lunch

Inchydoney beach is a regular walking spot for us all. We check for the low tides and do a long walk around the waters edge starting in the beach car park. We stop for a coffee and homemade biscuit at the hotel and proceed along the beach to the back of the island. If the tide is really low, you... More
