Truly one of the top 5 most scenic courses in the world. Incredible views on every single hole. Somewhat of an amusement park course, as some holes are just plain ridiculous with the wind even if you're a scratch golfer. Good luck out there, but you will enjoy every second of it. The course and lighthouse is gated off only... More

First of all, I understand that Ireland is big on golf. While I personally would rather eat the bottom of my shoe than play golf, I get it that some people live for the game. Well, for those who don't know, just off the Old Head of Kinsale is the location where, in 1915, the British liner LUSITANIA was torpedoed.... More

We visited in January 2017 t o find the entrance to this stunning attraction and walk closed until April. Can anyone explain why? So disappointed, but we found a walk that kind of paralleled it and enjoyed it.

For golf this is a must. Very challenging due to weather conditions but the setting is great and cannot be beaten

I always bring my family to the place when they visit Ireland. It's just an amazing spot you have to see in the Kinsale area. The ocean meeting the cliffs is just wonderful.

My golf buddy and I played the Old Head golf course on our golf trip to Ireland. This was the fourth course we had played that were rated high in the top 100 golf courses outside the U.S.A and by far the most visually spectactular. It is situated on a small penninsula ~ 30 miles south of Cork. The facilities... More

I've been around the world playing golf, from Hawaii, all through the continental USA, Mexico and Canada, and throughout Europe. The Old Head offers superb, friendly, hospitality, on par with the best. The staff are so accommodating and proactive...it is rare to get that 5-star resort course hospitality that delights the worldly golfer! The course is the most magnificent location... More

Incredible golf course jutting out into the ocean. One of the best golfing experiences you are ever going to have. We got lucky with the weather and it was flat calm which I'd imagine rarely happens. As good as I've ever played it having been there 4 times between 2011 and this year. Greens perfect even in October. Not a... More
