We always try to visit somewhere like this. Old church steeped in history. To take 20 minutes out it is very peaceful and made special by the resident cat snoozing on one of the pews....wife loved this. Definitely call in and ‘say one’.

Neat old church. The graveyard has graves from the Lusitania sinking. Worth a visit while in Kinsale.

A lovely local church with ancient provenance, lovely stained glass windows. We were also met inside by a very friendly cat.

A little oasis of tranquility in a bustling town. And such a very long past.. Really invites you to reflect. No charge to visit.

A centuries old church reeking with history with its connection to local regiments of this garrison town and seafarers. A bright cheerful building with timber roof in the nave constructed like an upturned ships hull. Well maintained internally but not so well outside. Many old...More

Take a few minutes to check out this church and graveyard. Interesting architecture and you will find Lusitania victims buried in the graveyard.

Pleasant church to visit mainly notable for age. Good to go into for a short visit. Nice architectural details. Adjacent graveyard is interesting.

This is a beautiful church with some amazing stained glass windows. The graveyard is spectacular. The church was originally built in 1190 and the impressive bell tower is the only original section left. I would say that it is a must see while in Kinsale.

The church is beautiful and the grounds well kept. I recall my father’s funeral which took place here many years ago

It is an Anglican Church. You can Google it to find out more. I found it surprisingly difficult to find Roman Catholic Churches in Ireland... but that led me to find out more about the sad history of religion in Ireland.
