It took a while to locate, but we found the wall and arch that has a dirt path that leads to the ruins. After a short walk on the pather, we drove further up the road and saw it from that vantage point.

We were driving the sky road and spotted the castle. It’s not signposted but found it ok. It’s a lovely old ruin a 18th century castle in the gothic style. Worth a half wander but there is no information about it at the site so...More
I could see the place but could not find the path to get down to the castle. This was unfortunate since it looked pretty cool from the cliff above. It was also not on the map providing on places to visit.
The Castle was very easy to find so don't be dismayed by the earlier reviews. The walk out to the Castle was half the fun...wild blackberries were abundant. The breeze off the ocean just enhanced the physical beauty en route. Sheep, horses and cows...oh my!...More
This is off the Sky Road and you can't see it from the road. Then you walk down a dirt rocky road which takes about 15 minutes. But along the way there are sheep, horses and sometimes cow. The castle is a wonderful ruins.
