So delightful

A relatively quiet sandy beach but one with stunning views. we were able to drive close to it and enjoy the solitude and beauty from the warmth of the car.

It is a remarkably quiet beach for a beach on the ring of Kerry and always a place of rest for me. Nice views of the Dingle peninsula and Inch Strand and of the Iveragh peninsula walking back. Great on a cold day to clear the head.

Further to the west, we discovered the wide, sandy spit at Rossbeigh. This beach featured strong waves coming in from the Atlantic. We spent some time watching surfers and horse handlers along the water.

It is really beautiful and picturesque. You may just seat in your car and watch the ocean. Also it has a WC and maybe same cafes near.
