I got an invite from a friend to accompany him and another buddy to play Dooks with a member. It was a nice dry day with a little bit of wind, as I guess there always is coming off the Atlantic. I wouldn't be a lover of links but the course was really nice with views of the Dingle Peninsula,... More

It is worth repeating: Do yourself a favour ... play Dooks. It is a gem with great greens, breathtaking views and not a weak hole on the course.

This is truly a must play course for any golfer visiting Ireland. Absolutely first rate. Unbelievable views from every hole. Some magical holes and amazing greens. really enjoyed this course. staff very helpful and the food in the bar afterwards wasn`t bad either. Tick this one on your must play list.

A fabulous experience if you have never played a links course before. It was my first round outside of the USA and I am not a skilled golfer, but this was a great place to be introduced to the way the game started. I only lost 5 balls!

We wanted to eat dinner out of town and went to the golf club on a Saturday night. The nachos where fantastic! Everyone was very nice to us even though we hadn't hit a round and it had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend if you are staying in Glenbeigh.

Great location along the bay. The rough isn't as bad as some of the other courses and it's also not as long although a fun course to play

A really nice links track with beautiful views of the Dingle Peninsula, Inch beach and the hills of the Beara! I would consider it a shorter Waterville but no more easier. The greens are super tricky and have only a small landing area - smaller than Waterville's for sure. You'll score if you can get your approach on the green...... More

This was the third time we have played Dooks, and every time it seems to have got better. The front nine is considerably better than the back nine, and has more of a links feel, but overall the course is very playable and considerably cheaper than it's more famous neighbours of Waterville and Tralee.

The views are amazing, with views of the ocean and mountains. A great links course. Some courses are challenges but that is what makes the game of golf so good, a challenge. If you enjoy golfing and around the area visit! And afterward you can go into the clubhouse for a drink and good food, nothing better

Not as prestigious as some of it's neighbours but well worth a visit. Pleasant lay-out that is well maintained and has views to match anywhere.
