I've never been in such a magical home as Bantry House. What a privilege to be able to walk through the fabulous rooms with their vastly high ceilings - the several sitting rooms, the library, the incredible blue dining room, the tapestries, the treasures. It's...More

Spectacular view onto the Bay of Bantry, but the house and garden were meh. There should be a lot more descriptions of items in each room and flora in the garden.

Travelled a long way to visit and were a bit disappointed at what we found. The house is in desperate need of repair. The view over the bay was lovely and the food in the cafe was great. Staff were very friendly.

Loved the history and the grounds. The cafe located at the rear of the building was a great find and such a hidden gem.

To be honest we were a bit disappointed with Bantry House. The gardens need a lot of work and whilst the house is interesting theres only a tiny portion of the house on view. Its a tad overpriced

The house is interesting but will need millions spend on it to restore it to its former glory. The family are obviously doing their best! The gardens are lovely. Worth a visit.
