This Cathedral which overlooks Cork Harbour is well worth a visit if you come to Cobh. The pulpit is all hand carved which is only devine. I know I'm biased . The stone which it is built came from Mallow Co, Cork.

This church dominates the skyline in Cobh and was a magnificent site to see as we sailed into and later, out of the port. It is a short walk up from the pier. Inside is also beautiful.

Such a beautiful cathedral with a stunning view. There was a wedding taking place which made it even more magical. Our guide said that this was the cathedral many of the Irish immigrates to America went to for a last mass and the last view of Ireland leaving on the ships. Can't help thinking, did my great grandmother leaving Cobh... More

We didn't have time to go inside but it can be seen from almost any point on the waterfront - only 3 minutes walk away.

The cathedral appears older than it is, the relative youth of the building showing in the excellent state of repair. It is quite a climb to get up to it unless you have parked in the free cathedral car park just behind it. The views over Cobh from the cathedral are a bonus. Inside the cathedral is Victorian Gothic styling

We went to Cobh to visit the Titanic experience, and ended up going to the Cathedral because the parking is free there! And it's so stunning and gorgeous! One of my favourites in the trip!

This Cathedral is probably one of the prettiest we have been in. We went early Sunday morning, so parking wasn't a problem. Worth the time.
