The lady in the museum(Mrs Morton) was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the history in the building as well as throughout the town. She goes back four generations in the town. Can even help with local tourist info.

This converted church has a very fine display of Lusitania related artifacts and memorabilia. This includes first hand accounts as well as personal items actually recovered from the bodies that washed ashore or were retrieved after the German U-boat sunk the Lusitania in May 1915....More

This museum is the site of the last port of call for the Titanic. It features stories of the people who embarked here and their fates. It is so well done with all kinds of technological aids. We are glad we detoured to see it.

This is in a church that opened in 1854. I went there because my great grandmother left from Cobh in 1855. It's very small but has some interesting displays.

Dusty museum that housed in a former church building that since has seen many uses. Lots of antique communications in the form of personal letters and publications from the time.

This museum focuses on emigration from Ireland to the USA, Canada and Australia. Would especially be interesting for citizens of those countries whose ancestors come from Ireland. You can also check the records here and find out a bit more of your family history.
