Yeats grave is located in the cemetery of St Columba's Church. The gravesite is ok for a grave, nothing unusual. The church is a nice little church with a decent interior to view. There is an decent eatery of sorts on the grounds and one...More

We went out of way to go visit Yeats's final resting place and read his epitaph. The church and grounds are so well kept. The statue and words of Yeats our near the carpark are beautiful.

Driving north of Sligo, one needs to stop at his grave. A nice old church to visit on the grounds too.

Enjoyed the peaceful and calming area of Drumcliffe - The church, graveyard where WB Yeats buried - and followed up with a great mug of coffee in the wee cafe/shop

I think I was expecting something a little more dramatic! This is just a normal, Irish grave...the quote on the headstone is wonderful though...and a visit to the lovely little church beside it is recommended.
