I'll admit to not being a big Yeats fan so seeing his grave was nice ... It's a beautiful place and the stones are lovely. There's a sign at the entrance that says no photos which was disappointing. Some of the older stones were Celtic...More

Made a stop at Yeats grave in a small cemetery by a lovely country church. Then went to a lecture at local museum regarding Yeats, his life and poetry. A very interesting experience. He was supposedly initially buried in France where he died. Then remains...More

A small graceful church and a number of historical and contemporary graves. This is one for the fans of Yeats. It does not have enough depth to be a stand alone tourist stop.

This is a very simple, but meaningful tribute to famous Irish writer William Butler Yeats, whose great grandfather, John Yeats, was the rector for the church at this historic site, St. Columba's Church.

Located at Drumcliff Church or St. Columba Church iris wrt a stop. Beautiful view of Benbulben. Certainly worth a visit, but don't make it a destination.

We went out of way to go visit Yeats's final resting place and read his epitaph. The church and grounds are so well kept. The statue and words of Yeats our near the carpark are beautiful.

Driving north of Sligo, one needs to stop at his grave. A nice old church to visit on the grounds too.

It is a cemetery next to a church. But this is where Yeats wanted to be moved to after he died in France. Now this is on the map for all of the tourists inSligo
