Beautiful building, with a large number of stained glass windows, even one by Evie Hone. The benches were comfortable. Would like to find out more about the Windows and return.

The stained glass in this building needs to be seen in bright sunlight, it is spectacular. It is not a particularly large building but what it lacks in size it makes up for in quality. Definitely worth a detour to see this and Loughrea town.

St Brendan's exterior is nothing special but the stained glass windows and the stations of the cross paintings are well worth a visit. Really there should be much more publicity about the windows.

St. Brendan's is one of the most beautiful cathedrals I've seen in my travels. The stained glass is magnificent and includes works by Michael Healy, my second favorite stained glass artist after Harry Clarke. The stained glass behind the altar and in the rose window...More

This cathedral is one of the finest in the West of Ireland. While most people focus on the stunning stained glass, the marble is almost as stunning. Well worth stopping off. No fees.
