One of the most beautiful cathedrals. The stain glass is amazing! I was fortunate enough to have been confirmed there in the early 70s. Still as beautiful as I remembered!

lovely church with a lot beautiful stained glass windows, not a very big cathedral but worth looking at, it also has a museum in the grounds with interesting articles to look at

Plenty of parking and lovely grounds. You must see the staines glass windows, and the interior design. I doubt if we will ever see a Cathedral built to this specification ever again

St Brendan's Cathedral is a treasure trove of Celtic art which we natives can take for granted sometimes. The stained glass windows are spectacular, and if you take binoculars and look at them, they are spectacular! Other works include the marble work and the carvings.

Take a walk along the lakeside path in Loughrea. So much to enjoy and take-in. Well worth parking and enjoying!
