Beautiful place to visit. We all enjoyed it. The gardens are well maintained. The children loved the journey over on the boat too.

Despite it not being the best day weatherwise we really enjoyed our visit to Garnish Island. Like others we saw some pregnant seals resting on the rocks in the bay during the short boat trip over. The gardens were a little windswept because of the...More

Ferry over by Blue Pool cost €10 per person, didn't tell us an additional €5 pp when you arrive on island. The cruise across was lovely, lots of seals resting on the rocks and eagles nesting in the trees. The island itself seems to be...More

We got on the ferry and took the short trip over to the gardens. There a wonderful little detour by seals sunning on the rocks. The trails meander around the island and different gardens are discovered around the corner. We fortunate enough to have a...More

We caught the boat from Glengarriff. On the way over there we saw loads of pregnant seals which was amazing. The gardens on the island are lovely. We did not have time to visit the house. There is also a little cafe with freshly made...More

Hi, Most people spend between 1-3 hours on the Island depending on your interest in Gardens, if you take the tour of the house or have some food while on the Island. Hope you enjoy the trip
